Welcome to Potion Panic. In this game you'll play as a mage's apprentice who took a satchel of infinite potions by mistake. You will have to return the satchel, as it contains an important object of your teacher's. In your quest to do this, you will encounter the guardians of the tower, and, in your fear, will chuck random potions at them to try and get past them and towards the end of the level.

The idea of throwing potions because of fear seems very made up. Maybe preserve the concept but come up with different motivation?

Controls are not very good. Gamepad support is mandatory for platformers, but if you play with keyboard than you typically jump with Space. It was confusing in more active moments why the character wasn't jumping and it turns out that was because I was pressing Space instead of W.

Gameplay wise, it seems that once you are fearful enough and throw potions fast and there is a big guard in front of you, there is no way to win because you can't jump on it (it's too tall) and when you come towards the guard, guard gets some potions and duplicates.

really cool to see how polished those animations are. a fun experience. There were some glitches but those only increased the amount of chaos which is a good thing ofcourse. Really good to see a working checkpoint system in a jam game. It seems like a small detail but is so important to keep the player engaged. Well done!

Thanks for taking the time to write this <3 glad you liked it :D your are awesome

STOP THROWING POTIONS AND DUPLICATING THEM AAAAA

I loved this! The idea of panic and throwing more and more potions is amazing and super fun! The graphics and smooth movements of everything accompanied with the neat low poly style make it a visual treat for players.

The idea could be expanded a lot more, and I'm sure you can do that and make this an even bigger game. Keep it up! <3

Great game and concept. Only complaint I really have is the double jump not being able to jump over some ledges sometimes but overall a great experience. Loved it.

Yeah for sure the jump needs some tweaks, thanks for the feedback and the kind comments <3

Great Game! I love the 2.5D art style! The mechanic is quit unique as well! Do you guys and girls pretend to make a more fleshed out version? I would like to see it ^^

Completed the game, it was very unique concept! It had a lot of good features, I love the 3D objects with the sidescrolling camera, and the music was really good! If I had to complain about something, I would say that it is sometimes a little inconsistent to double jump up to some of the ledges, although that totally could have just been me messing up the timing. This is an awesome game!

Thanks for the awesome feedback, yeah the double jump needed some tweaks but unfortunately we ran out of time, but thanks for the comment and we are glad you liked it :D, thanks for playing it <3

Love the gameplay! The assets are also very cool. I don't know if it is just me that is bad, but the game is a little to difficult. Keep the good work!
